HISTORY

North Ward Rugby Club (NWRC) is an entity created in 2018 from two former clubs, the North Ward Old Boys (previously Grammar Old Boys) and the North Ward Sandcrabs.

Recognising the benefits of a merged club, the committees of both clubs undertook to form the North Ward Rugby Club, to provide a defined pathway for male and female players from U8’s through to A Grade.

Today NWRC is a family-oriented club which offers teams for players of any age or gender, from 6 years old through to players in their 50’s.
