The club relies heavily on parents and/or carers to fill a range of volunteer roles during the year.

 

Each team requires the following positions to be filled:

Coach                                   Must possess Blue Card and have smart rugby accreditation

Assistant Coach               As above

Manager                              As above

 

More broadly the club requires the following positions to be filled: 

Touch Judge                     (Junior Games allow for a non-referee parent or helper to perform this role)

Home Day Manager      Run the canteen, set-up field marking, be general point of contact.

Sponsorship                       Assist with the securing of sponsorship for the whole of club

Fundraising                        Running Raffles, Sausage Sizzles, other club fundraising activities

The club employs appropriately trained sports medicine staff to attend all home games.  Their advice is to be taken by game officials (referees, coaches, managers, and parents) regarding injuries to players and the ability of the player to continue playing.

One sports medic will be engaged per full size field in operation.
